Les Mission >:[
Since I got these....ranger boots.............It's become clear to me that boots just work for me. These put me just over 6ft and it's so much fun. Whereas on my own i'm a measly 5 '10. If it wasn't for the horde of polo thugs also sporting rangers I would be kinda happy..if only. So for the past few months i've been looking, in vain, for boots that i like. I've been through so many brands of chukka's, desert boots(i need a pair, it's summertime), boots, and things that slightly resemble boots that whenever i recognize them on someone I can't help but regurgitate a ridiculous amount of information on the style and brand. This without me having even particularly LIKED any of the boots i've seen so far (except adidas' desert boots X sexy)....(and those feit moc mids i posted earlier). So i've come to the conclusion that if I want nice boots, without any ties to communist/skinhead/neo-nazi's, i'll just have to perform a manual search of the whole damn city >:[ That folks...is the mission.

I've been neglecting this blog a little. I'm a teenage boy and, as much as I hate to admit it, girls affect almost every decision I make. If like me, you've ever been a teenage boy, you know exactly what I mean. My official excuse is that I met a young lady who particularly piqued my interest, and when I found out she had a tumblr...

It is my sad duty to report that i found no suitable jeans at the beacons closet in park slope :[
I DID however, find a nice crewneck sweatshirt. I know it's getting really warm but I happen to sweat quite inconspicuously and I like heat :D My single problem with this sweatshirt is that the image is an eagle holding a nuke that reads "We Support our Troops,"(on the nuke)"Slam Saddam." Not the best sentiment to broadcast in NY lmfao but who gives a fuck? If anything I should be praised for bringing attention to the horrible war-mongering attitude that many americans still cling so dearly to. THAT is Coco Laurau's take on this sweatshirt, and THAT, dear readers, is the end of THAT.

pretty girls :[
I fell in love on the bus yesterday and felt like such a pussy. She looked so tired and her hair was a fro. Big pink earrings and her eyes were soft and slanty. Her cheeks looked puffy and they made her lips look delicate. When she made ready to get up I almost went crazy considering the possible consequences of making a move. I thought about getting off with her and telling her i loved her. She looked tired though, so beautifully tired, and that combined with my lack of preparation/pussyness led me to remain seated, and watch this goddess get up and go. I've decided that if I ever see her again i'll tell her. I won't be able to stop thinking about her 'till then

I had a shocking little revelation. I've been able to put into words my own personal tastes in clothing ("fashion" is nasty, as hip as that sounds), art, music, literature, and basically everything worthwhile in life. I love it when someone's work builds upon itself. When a piece of work is iconic enough to express it's own views, and emotions, I start to think of it as a living thing. In the case of clothing, a particular shirt, for example can lend me an emotion that I think will benefit me one day and a pair of jeans the next. In poetry however, my tastes are a little more varied. I enjoy poems of the old english sort, unrequited love and all that. I've definitely had my fair share. However poetry like that of Jane Lecroy in, "I Dreamt you were Master," is so real it produces a cold feeling in my chest and I start to smell electricity burning. Basically from poetry I want a powerful emotion communicated thoroughly and quickly. Though NEVER efficiently! I want to be left with the impression that the poet's reality is inevitably too intense for words. I WANT my poet's to fail! Jane Lecroy is right on the fucking edge! Music is an odd subject for me. I understand my musical tastes the least, simply because they seem to shift uncontrollably. One minute I crave Heavy metal and the next I NEED synthesizers. I enjoy classical music, mostly because it's so classical that i can't really relate (being all urban and whatnot) I just go along for the 100 yr old ride. This lends a little whimsy to all the classics for me. However, on the subject of music, I can honestly say that electric blues is my favorite. Samuel L. Jackson in Black Snake Moan was just awesome. Regarding books my criteria are simple. There must be an interesting plot. Dialogue is extremely important to me. I find that everyday conversation is severely lacking in any form of vocabular creativity and I expect a sufficient substitute in my books :D that's most of it. I'm tired

This movie began with a suicide...! The plot allows for a little wide-eyed speculation about the after-life, but never loses the realistic edge that..for some reason...makes me think of deserts...

This is my home and one of the few pictures i'm proud to have taken >:DThe wall reads, "My home? My sanctuary," and it really is! This picture is, quite obviously, edited and I wish there was a little more art than the Bob Marley poster (not in the picture).

I just got my copy of The Adventures and Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes! I've always had a thing for the old (1800's-today) english style of speaking and accent (or lack thereof) :)I'm halfway done already! Holmes is a genius! Thanks to him, I can now safely assume that every man wearing a dusty hat needs love.
